We contacted GBC ltd after some disappointing experiences with our previous service provider. It was a breath of fresh air to experience the professional and friendly approach received from all at GBC ltd. They have worked well to provide us with solutions to the problems with our BMS and we look forward to continuing with them as our preferred supplier.

Pinewood Studios Iver Heath. CMB Engineering engaged with GBC to provide the controls package to the three new film studios and one SFX sound stage as part of Pinewoods ‘Phase Two’ of their ongoing development of their facilities. The works included HVAC controls to the new stages as well as some necessary upgrades to existing plant on site. The new system was integrated seamlessly into the existing head end within the Pinewood FM office. The project was delivered on time on budget in a very tight timeframe by a strong management and installation team, with no compromise on quality.

I would just like say I have worked alongside GBC on various projects over the years and have always been very pleased with the quality and professionalism in which the way the works have been carried out. I have recently been involved with GBC on two local contracts involving the manufacture, supply and installation of BMS control panels which includes the control strategy software design & Commissioning. ... in both cases the customer was extremely pleased in the way the works were carried out including system demonstration and assistance after completion.

We spent the day trying to find a fault in the someone’s else’s BMS design, the control system that had stopped in a the ‘three year old Natural ventilated building’ that had we understand seldom operated correctly...The BMS specialist got the blinds to operate, not realising the windows behind would also be actuated open... much to the pleasure of the local room users that had no adequate natural ventilation in the space due to faults set in BMS system since the original building commissioning days. Commissioning engineer considered this a real ‘high five’ moment !

Your engineer found a fundamental problem which was causing us all the problems, so I’m well pleased! He’s also explained the operation to me and created graphs and other stuff so excellent value. If we have any issues or need further tweaks, I’ll be sure to get back to you.
